Background
Cindy worked as an Environmental Quality Educator with Minnesota Sea Grant focusing on land use management and water quality outreach and education, including professional development for educators and land/water managers. Prior to Sea Grant Cindy contracted with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conducting limnological and wetland research. In 2018, Cindy was awarded the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography Ramón Margalef Award for excellence in teaching and mentoring in the fields of limnology and oceanography.
