Bio

I am a senior laboratory technician working in the water group at NRRI. I have worked as an aquatic ecologist for 3 years. My first professional research focused on studying effective removal efforts for rusty crayfish near wild rice beds. Currently, the bulk of my work includes monitoring fish, aquatic invertebrates, and aquatic vegetation in coastal wetlands of The Great Lakes. I am also working on monitoring peatland restoration efforts with sensor towers that help evaluate environmental fluxes.
