Study wildlife, water, and productivity in peatland forests through a combination of wildlife, vegetation, and hydrology measurements to determine the impacts of logging on peatland forests.
Project Goals
Assess Logging Impacts: Integrate wildlife, vegetation, and hydrological metrics to evaluate the ecological effects of logging on peatland forests.
Analyze Habitat Selection: Conduct avian surveys and track juvenile Boreal Chickadee and Connecticut Warbler movements to determine habitat preferences.
Inform Land Management: Synthesize ecological and spatial data to guide sustainable management strategies for peatland ecosystems.
