Bio
Quiana's main interest is the preservation of Minnesota's freshwater ecosystems. During her time at BSU she focused her research on how the morphology of yellow perch changed based on diet throughout Lake Bemidji. Quiana hopes to combine her knowledge gained from NRRI with her aquatic biology degree to one day help with the restoration of our aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, where mining has taken place.
