About
Peter is an aquatic ecologist and fieldwork coordinator working in the NRRI Central Analytical Laboratory. He specializes in the implementation and optimization of aquatic monitoring frameworks, particularly in the context of water quality, phytoplankton community ecology, and cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms. When he is not coordinating the collection and processing of water samples from lakes and streams, Peter can likely be found performing data analysis and scientific writing with the data he helps to collect. Additionally, Peter has performed taxonomic identification and enumeration on hundreds of phytoplankton samples, and he has used his experience to assess automated microscopy devices.
