Oksana's research interests focus on developing green and sustainable technologies to convert forest and agricultural biomass to value-added materials. She has been involved in a number of projects that required knowledge in physical, chemical and biological science to fulfill this task. Currently, Oksana is working on biomass characterization and modification, biodegradable polymers and potential adsorbent for heavy metal removal in groundwater and wastewater.
