About

My current research focus is on utilizing acoustics for distribution mapping of northern and southern flying squirrels across the Great Lakes region. In the past, I have researched flying squirrel distributions and habitat modeling, bats on the UMD campus, drought tolerance of plants, harmful algal blooms and nutrient dynamics of Lake Superior, and vegetation and water quality trends in the St Louis River Estuary.
