Bio

Jeff Jackson has over 25 years of business development experience focused on medical laboratory products, energy efficiency, and improved trees. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Master of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences degree from the University of Florida. Prior to joining NRRI, Jeff was with University of Minnesota Extension for 5 years building networks of people to advance the use of fast-growing trees for environmental sustainability. Prior to that, Jeff was with Xcel Energy for 16 years in a leadership role building partnerships with energy efficient equipment distributors to reduce the carbon footprint of new construction and major building retrofits. 

As the Business Development Manager, Jeff works with the research community at NRRI to incorporate customer input into project planning and proposals, to build relationships with new clients and collaborators, and to ensure client satisfaction with research and service projects.
