
Lisa has spent thirty-five years as a project manager, proposal manager, technical supervisor and environmental and research scientist evaluating environmental resources, assessing environmental impacts and verifying and optimizing remedial system performance associated with solid, hazardous and nuclear wastes. As NRRI Quality Manager Lisa has developed, manages and provides continual improvement of NRRI's quality program strategy, processes, procedures and training to help staff achieve their objectives while ensuring a consistent approach within the organization. She also has extended this approach in supporting NRRI's other core value areas, particularly the Safety Program.
As a NRRI senior researcher at NRRI, Lisa has examined anthropogenic and natural influences on freshwater ecosystems using algae as indicators, and assisted in determining and providing feedback whether ballast water treatment technologies are effective in eliminating potentially invasive protists in ships' ballast water in accordance with state, federal and worldwide protocols,
